Time for some New Geography

New Geography.com, based in Sherman Oaks and North Dakota, has launched as a website "devoted to analyzing and discussing the places where we live and work. Practitioners at heart, we want to know not only what is happening, but why it so and how we can inform better decisions. New Geography opens with a discussion of Chicago, including a piece by prolific blogger and long-time Chicago observer Steve Bartin." Los Angeles author and cities expert Joel Kotkin is executive editor. LA Observed is listed as partner site, mostly meaning they pick up our RSS feed.
