Secret homeless refuge cleaned out

Homeless camp cleaned out
Police and the fire department moved in today on an astonishing homeless encampment that was suspended above Figueroa Street on top of the ventilation shaft under the 1st Street overpass downtown. The occupant(s) may have been there longer than a year and a half. KPCC's John Rabe, whose office is nearby, caught the operation on video he narrates and posted at YouTube.
