Octuplets mom's reps: we're out

Since I mentioned her last week on the blog, and on Friday in my KCRW commentary, let's note for the record that Joann Killeen and her partner have stepped aside as pro bono public relations advisers for Nadya Suleman. Too many death threats for a free gig, says Killeen. Longtime PR guy Michael Levine scoffs that he gets them all the time. "Death threats have about as much impact on my life as me saying 'Happy Valentines' to you," Levine told AP. "It's like going to war. When you represent someone who's going through this kind of controversy you are in the middle of a September 11 kind of intensity." Suleman, meanwhile, has hired an agent: Wes Yoder of Tennessee-based Ambassador Agency, Inc., which calls itself the country's oldest Christian-based talent agency. LAT, AP
