HuffPost grabs from WashPost

Jose Antonio Vargas, a national reporter at the Washington Post who covered the intersection of politics and technology during the 2008 campaign, was named Technology and Innovations Editor of the Huffington Post. He will launch a new Technology section in September, which the release says will track "tech innovations and tech innovators in every field, including, politics, media, business, and social networking. He will also report on technology and its impact on users." The HuffPost also recently named ex-WashPost web columnist Dan Froomkin as Washington bureau chief.
