KCET bucks trend on TV fire news

While other local TV stations have been skimping on fire coverage, PBS station KCET is doing more than it ever has before: as of 1:30 p.m. today, Channel 28 is airing reports every half hour. SoCal Connected’s Vince Gonzales, Angie Crouch and Val Zavala are anchoring, says the release. The website is also gearing up.
