It's Monday (sorry) and the Station Fire continues to burn. Three weeks, $90 million and 160,000 acres later, with full containment in sight, news reports turn to living conditions at the base camp at Santa Fe Dam in Irwindale. Think dorms, mess halls, and hundreds of fragrant portable toilets. LAT

A bit of rolling thunder as 400 motor cyclists took part in the second annual West Valley Memorial Motorcycle Ride, in which bikers paid $35 each to ride from Reseda to Malibu to Paramount Studios in Hollywood, and raise money for the families of fallen LAPD officers. LADN

Apparently the San Joaquin Valley is sinking. LAT

Two gang members, each sentenced to four years in prison, walked free from Santa Ana Superior Court because "credit for time served actually outweighed their four-year, eight-month prison sentences." OC Reg
