Former CityBeat editor Rebecca Schoenkopf has a piece she wrote for the late weekly included in "Best Music Writing 2009," the annual edited by Greil Marcus. Schoenkopf also gets a nice excerpt from her story featured today at the New York Times' book blog, Paper Cuts.
