Thousands mourn Bobby Salcedo

At least 2,500 people, and perhaps as many as 5,000, attended last night's event in the stadium at Mountain View High School for El Monte school board member Agustin Roberto Salcedo, who was murdered in Mexico last week. Salcedo, 33, was a student leader, teacher and school administrator in El Monte. He also had helped raise money for orphanages and the fire department in Gomez Palacio, his wife's hometown in Durango where he was killed by gunmen who took Salcedo and five other men from a holiday party.
