Marriott opens at L.A. Live

marriott-la-live-blogdt.jpgA day ahead of the official ribbon-cutting, the new JW Marriott hotel — that's the shiny tower that looms over L.A. Live these days — admitted its first guests today. That adds 879 rooms to the city's hotel market, with a bunch more to come when the adjoining Ritz-Carlton opens next month. The Marriott offers three bars and a lobby restaurant called LA Market, which Eric Richardson checks out at Blogdowntown.
