Nina Blanchard, modeling agency founder was 81

Blanchard opened the Hollywood agency that bore her name in 1961 and represented, among others, Cheryl Tiegs, Christie Brinkley, Rene Russo and Cristina Ferrare. "Nina was the one that truly nurtured what we know as supermodels today," said Shari Belafonte, another client. LAT
