Paul Serchia, blogger with AIDS was 52

I posted about Serchia in January, when I was introduced to his blog Thinking Positive, where he wrote with humor and insight about his life as a cancer and AIDS patient. A friend has just posted there that Serchia died this morning. Serchia's last post was about moving into a skilled nursing facility in Hollywood: "The fast-paced environment here leaves little room for learning how to be a citizen of a nursing home community. Already I have had a flare-up during a sponge bath. I wanted to wail, “hey, I can wash THOSE myself, thank you very much."
