The Entryway responds to criticisms

The journalists who are living with a Mexican immigrant family near MacArthur Park posted some new FAQs tonight aimed at addressing some of the criticism directed at the reporting project. The post gives some backstory on how they came to start the project and how they chose their family, and it makes some other points. Among them: that the website is not intended to be journalism, but rather "a personal narrative written by two journalists." The project has picked up some new donations at Spot.Us since the criticism began flying.
