Things to do for smart people in L.A.

left-coast-crime-logo.jpgLA Observed contributor Adrienne Crew is an entertainment attorney by day. At night she goes to interesting places, and wants you to know where you can go too. Her Angeleno Social Diary for the week at Native Intelligence has suggestions for book lovers, local history lovers and people of various other persuasions.

Add LAO contributors: Eric Estrin's teenaged daughter Robin posted at the Huffington Post an open letter to Boeing about cleanup of the toxic mess left behind at the former Rocketdyne test site in the Santa Susana Mountains. Boeing responded and invited Robin and other members of Teens Against Toxins for a tour and discussion this coming Monday.

From the sports desk: Phil Wallace's Native Intelligence take on the Clippers firing of general manager Mike Dunleavy was picked up by the Sports Business Daily.
