Attempted assaults at UCLA lead the news

All the TV stations I saw tonight went live from UCLA due to a fifth recent attempted sexual assault on or near the campus. The latest occurred when a student went outside her dorm to make a phone call after 3 a.m. Wednesday and was thrown to the ground by a man who straddled her, then for unknown reasons abruptly fled. She suffered minor scratches but was not otherwise hurt, UCLA says. It was the fifth reported assault of a sexual nature this month. The UCLA police have been warning students to take precautions around Westwood, including to walk in groups at night.
