California Watch hiring again

The investigative reporting venture based up north is looking to add another enterprise reporter and a new position for them, that of public engagement manager. Editor Mark Katches was still working through the process of filling the last two reporter positions posted, and says "when we’re done with this little hiring spree, our team will have grown to 17 – including 10 reporters and two multimedia producers." California Watch, he says, is "already the largest investigative team operating in the state." They have branched out, I notice, from investigative projects to having their reporters blog about politics and policy, most recently on Gov. Schwarzenegger's appointment of Angeleno political figures (and charter school advocates) Alan Arkatov and Ben Austin to the state Board of Education.
