Jail escapees caught

barrios-aldana.jpgWinder Barrios and Jose Aldana, robbery suspects who were due in court today, somehow got out of the Peter Pitchess Detention Center last night but didn't get far. After a full-court press by law enforcement, they were spotted this afternoon near Hasley Canyon Road and Commerce Center Drive in Castaic, says the Santa Clarita sheriff's station. A resident had called in a report that two men had asked him for clothing. Deputies searched the area and found the escapees "hiding in a nearby trash dumpster storage area. Their jail jumpsuits were located nearby," says the release.

Add: Their trial continued today without them. CBS 2
