Hidden Los Angeles goes full-time

Lynn Garrett, who started the Hidden Los Angeles website and wildly popular Facebook pages of the same name about a year ago, has quit her job to run the sites and plans to hire an employee. "I have no doubt in my mind that this is something that will be profitable," she told the L.A. Times tech blog. Hidden L.A. offers tips on shopping, restaurants and places to enjoy the city, as well as a forum for Angelenos to discuss the city. On the Facebook page, which has 157,000 fans, she has asked people to stop sending resumes for the opening: "Hidden Los Angeles appreciates the résumés but won't be able to hire anyone for a while, sorry... I've got some other goals to hit first."
