L.A. blogs get some kudos from Time

boingboinglogo.jpgTime magazine's online team rated a bunch of blogs again this year, and for the Los Angeles-based blogosphere the results are mixed. BoingBoing was declared an essential blog. Deadline Hollywood was rated one of 25 best blogs (along with The Awl, Roger Ebert's Journal and The Sartorialist, to name a few.) But Perez Hilton was dismissed as overrated (as were Mashable and Daily Kos.) Time's other list posted Monday: Top ten celebrity do-gooders.

Noted: Nikki Finke takes a bow for Deadline Hollywood, in her own singular style.
