Despite reports that Dr. Marc Abrams was under criminal investigation and may have committed suicide, the community fixture known as the walking man of Silver Lake was honored Sunday by a gathering at the reservoir and a walk through the area. Abrams was found dead in his hot tub last week.

* Update: Covered by the New York Times' Rebecca Cathcart.

After the jump: See how many people are walking.
