HuffPost's 'massive manhunt' that wasn't

Many news outlets and websites are reporting this morning's arrest of three suspects in yesterday's stabbing murder in the Trousdale Estates section of Beverly Hills. The Huffington Post headline, though, screams 3 arrested after massive manhunt. I guess the kids who write HuffPost headlines don't have much experience with manhunts, or maybe the chance to hype a hed for a few thousand more eyeballs was just too good to pass up. The HuffPost's own story simply says that detectives worked through the night and rounded up a few suspects.

Noted: Today's launch of its travel section (edited by Kate Auletta) brings the HuffPost closer to its goal of being an online newspaper, says Dylan Stableford.
