Beverly Hills pedestrian sting: 53 tickets

The Beverly Hills PD cracked down on drivers failing to yield to a plainclothes officer crossing Wilshire Boulevard at Palm Avenue, the intersection where the city says it gets the most complaints. The cops issued 53 tickets in under two hours. Beverly Hills has more peds hit by cars per capita than any other city in the state, the Beverly Hills Courier says. Video is by the Courier.
