Bon Appetit leaving L.A., Fairchild leaving the mag

Conde Nast announced today that the editorial offices of Bon Appetit magazine will be moving to New York, without longtime editor Barbara Fairchild. She will oversee the transition then leave to pursue other projects, including some with Conde Nast, according to the release. The move was sort-of telegraphed — or at least Bon Appetit staffers felt it coming — when Conde Nast announced in August that Architectural Digest would move to New York.
