Architectural Digest moving to New York

Conde Nast has named Margaret Russell the new editor-in-chief of Architectural Digest, succeeding Paige Rense. But the bigger news is that the magazine will move from Los Angeles to New York. (Update: Staffers were told there may be some kind of satellite office remaining in L.A., but that jobs could be affected. Other mags in the Los Angeles office so far not involved, apparently.) Russell has been editor of Elle Decor and VP of Hachette Filipacchi Media, says the release.
