CicLAvia route for Sunday in L.A.

ciclavia-map.jpg
A 7½ route of city streets between basically the Heliotrope side of L.A. City College and Hollenbeck Park on the (real) Eastside will be closed to cars on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The route is open to be walked, ridden, skated or otherwise traveled, in both directions, with a bunch of activities planned along the route. CicLAvia site. This being L.A., City Hall is also using it as a revenue-gathering and piss-people-off event: parked cars will begin being towed from the route and impounded at 6 a.m. on Sunday.
