Downtown Art Walk posts director job

The next executive director of the Art Walk will be expected to meet a lengthy list of skill and experience requirements, plus a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and ..."at least five years experience in business, public cultural events, non-profit operational and financial management, or related areas. Web marketing, social media, and publishing experience are essential. Knowledge and experience of the downtown Los Angeles community is preferred, and art curation experience is preferred....In order to perform the intended role of the Executive Director, he or she will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear." The non-profit also added four new board members, including one who works for Tom Gilmore.
