Steve Harvey's latest column of quirky bitsJames Hibberd has been television editor at the Hollywood Reporter. He gets a gracious send-off in a memo to the staff this evening from editorial director Janice Min.
Please join me in congratulating James Hibberd on his next life move: he is moving over to join Entertainment Weekly as their new television blogger. I'm happy for him as he has wanted the experience of a large consumer website under his wing, but I'm sure we will all miss his obsessive nature (who else will IM you back at 7 am), tenacity, and skills as a reporter and writer. Luckily, James will be with us until December 15, and we will certainly find time before the holidays to raise a toast to him for his great work here and no doubt continued great work in his new venture.
