Another brutal night for Lakers

The Lakers continued their funk with a blowout loss to the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at Staples Center: 104-85 final. As the game wound down, KCAL and ESPN radio sportscaster John Ireland tweeted from the arena: "Never heard the Lakers booed this loudly at home. Down 20 to Memphis in 4th." Ireland's tweets earlier in the game:

Lakers being booed at Staples after coming out flat to start third. Somebody needs to wake LA up.

Lakers with one of their worst halves of the year. LA made 15/32 shots (47%), but allowed MEM 15 more attempts (20/48) and MEM leads 48-39.

J.A. Adande of ESPN, before the final stretch: "Lakers got a 17-point 3Q from Kobe and are still down 17. You can guess where this is heading."
