Nichols gets the DWP job, officially

The City Council made the appropriate noises then signed off on Mayor Villarigosa's appointment of outsider Ron Nichols to head the Department of Water and Power. Good luck on that one, buddy. Nichols will chat about the job with Warren Olney tonight on "Which Way, L.A.?" at p .m. on KCRW.

Also on WWLA: Olney also will be talking about last week's LAPD shooting of Reginald Doucet in Playa Vista, with LAPD inspector general Nicole Bershon and civil rights activist Earl Ofari Hutchinson.
