David Lieberman, senior media reporter at USA Today, will join Deadline.com as Executive Editor on April 11. The Deadline story says he will be based in New York and "cover a wide array of issues including Big Media corporate finance and technological convergence as part of a major expansion of Deadline’s journalism about the media and entertainment business. Lieberman will report to Deadline.com General Manager, Founder, and Editor-in-Chief Nikki Finke on editorial matters and to PMC Founder and Chief Executive Jay Penske on strategic initiatives."
