Serena Williams recovering from pulmonary embolism

The tennis star sought treatment last week at Cedars-Sinai, and on Monday was treated on an emergency basis for a related hematoma. Her people said the 29-year-old is recuperating at home. "Thankfully everything was caught in time," a spokeswoman said in a statement this afternoon. "With continued doctor visits to monitor her situation, she is recuperating at home under strict medical supervision." Serna also talked to People today.
