The L.A. Times opinion page has canceled the Sunday roundup of editorial cartoons that Joel Pett has done for six years-plus. "Death and taxes may be inevitable, but so too are media budget cuts," he wrote Sunday. "Many thanks to The Times for allowing me to share the brilliantly clever work of my peers (and for tolerating my often painful puns), and much gratitude to each and every reader."
