Obama media alert: it's Tavern *

tavern-grab.jpg

When President Obama descends on Brentwood this evening, no doubt some media outets will refer to the former Hamburger Hamlet-turned-Suzanne Goin foodie hangout as The Tavern. For some weird reason, The Wrap already has — several times. Note to the visiting nationals and even quasi-locals like The Wrap: drop the article. It's just Tavern.

Regarding Obamajam, nobody's got any new details. Just know it could be a mess out there between 3 and 8 or so.

3:15 p.m. update: The Wrap updated its stories to reflect that the restaurant is Tavern. Further note to national media: Obama will be nowhere near Hollywood at any time tonight. He's speaking in Culver City and Brentwood, and passing through West Los Angeles (and by the looks of the traffic maps, Westwood, Century City and possibly Beverly Hills), but definitely not Hollywood. Hollywood, California that is.
