Paramount latest studio to try 'The Martian Chronicles'

The-Martian-Chronicles-cover.jpgParamount said today it has optioned the movie rights to Ray Bradbury's classic 1950 short story collection "The Martian Chronicles." Universal had acquired the feature rights in 1997, but Steven Spielberg and other producers could never get the project going, says The Hollywood Reporter. John Davis will produce; there is, as yet, no writer attached.
