City parking chief to step down, NBC 4 says

Jimmy Price will officially retire on June 4 from the LA Department of Transportation, several years ahead of his planned exit, according to Channel 4 citing "multiple sources within the department." The station puts it in the context of its two investigative reports on parking officers behaving badly. "Price has been under increasing pressure to leave the post, which he's held since 1998," says Joel Grover.
