Nazeeha Saeed, the Bahrain correspondent of France 24 and Radio Monte Carlo Doualiya, was summoned to a police station, blindfolded, beaten on her back and feet with flexible plastic tubing and questioned about her reports on the pro-democracy demonstrations in Bahrain. She was released and is in France receiving medical care, says Reporters Without Borders.
