Jaime Chambers swims from Alcatraz to land

jaime-chambers-alcatraz-setup.jpgKTLA reporter Jaime Chambers has been running a multi-part series this week about swimming to San Francisco from Alcatraz Island, inspired I guess by the story of prisoners who tried and were never found. In tonight's installment, he makes it across in 38 minutes and shows up on camera shirtless. Channel 5 has the ugliest video player I've ever seen on a news site, but the embed is after the jump if you want to try it. You can also go see it at the right size at KTLA.
