Trailer posted for 'Girl with a Dragon Tattoo' *

David Poland at Movie City News discusses whether this is an authorized promotional stunt (likely) or a bootleg trailer. The video went up on YouTube Saturday; it already has 508,000 views. In any case, the David Fincher version of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" looks to be darker and snowier than the Swedish original, and perhaps more reflective of the book. There's more Daniel Craig (and some Robin Wright) in the footage than Rooney Mara, but we'll see. Marketing slogan: "The Feel Bad Movie of Christmas." Tag line: "She's coming."

Noted: A Rooney Mara fan site says the official green-band trailer will be released this week.

* 23 hours later: The YouTube count on the trailer is up to 1,176,269.
