Two front-page politics stories in the L.A. Times over the weekend said that the new state and congressional districts put pressure on California Republicans to become more moderate or lose power, and that Democrats are losing ground with Latinos.

Mike Molina announced his resignation as deputy executive director-external affairs at Los Angeles World Airports to join an unnamed "LA-based public affairs firm." He was formerly the chief of staff to Councilwoman Janice Hahn.
