*Downtown stadium hearing under way

Our friend Alice Walton (aka City Maven), who is covering the City Council session, reports a packed house this morning as council members go through the proposed memorandum of understanding with AEG on the $1.2-billion project. Not surprisingly, Councilwoman Jan Perry called it a very strong deal. I'll have some updates, as events warrant, but I wouldn't expect too many surprises.
