Scott Pelley in town to anchor CBS News

Actually, he's in town to appear at the TCA press tour, though CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler is getting most of the attention this morning (everybody wants to know about Ashton Kutcher's new character in "Two & A Half Men"). Pelley took over the evening news broadcast from Katie Couric in early June, and while viewership is up from a year ago, CBS still trails the NBC and ABC newscasts by substantial amounts. He might want to lighten it up a little.
