New book covers L.A.'s ethnic spas

spa-less-traveled.jpgIt's not just the Russian baths and Beverly Hot Springs any more. "The Spa Less Traveled: Discovering Ethnic Los Angeles, One Massage at a Time," coming in October from Prospect Park Media, calls itself the first guide to the Korean, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and other ethnic spa treatments available in Los Angeles. The authors are Pasadena residents Brenda Goldstein and Gail Herndon.
