* 3 p.m. update: Mohammed Gaddafi, another son, has surrendered, Al Jazeera English reports on its live blog.
3:14 p.m.: Gaddafi goes on on state TV calling on tribes by name, "all the men and women," to march to Tripoli to defend the capital from enslavement. It's the third or fourth time Gaddafi has spoken in the last hour or so.
