7 of 10 most congested freeway segments are here

405-looking-north.jpgThe worst of the bunch, in the latest Texas Transportation Institute study, is supposedly the stretch of the 110 Freeway from Interstate 10 to the Dodger Stadium exit at Stadium Way. In other words, AEG and city officials are trying to put up a new NFL stadium smack against the most congested freeway segment in the United States. But these sorts of compilations always seem like statistical creations anyway. Does anybody really feel like that is the slowest freeway leg in Southern California, let alone the country? Others in the Bottom 10 from the Texas study: the 110 freeway south from I-10 to the 105, and the 405 freeway between Getty Center Drive and the 105 again.
