Times embraces the Globe Lobby again

LATlino 001.jpgNice move by whoever made this call at the L.A. Times. The historic Globe Lobby off 1st Street a few steps west of Spring is going to host Thursday lunch chats once a month with the paper's journalists. Up first at next week's Thursdays @ The Globe will be architectural critic Christopher Hawthorne, talking about the Times building itself. Next month will be staff photographer Mark Boster on his recent series of photos from Yosemite, and signing books. The events are and open to the public, but reservations are necessary.
