USC 50, UCLA zippo

neuheisel-lao-file.jpgOh! Ouch! Some media types began speculating on Twitter, only half-joking I think, that UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel would be relieved of his duties at halftime of Saturday's rout at the Coliseum. Of course that wouldn't and didn't happen, but now the Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers are reporting, based on "multiple sources close to the program," that Neuheisel will be let go after the Pac-12 Conference championship game on Friday. Because of USC's ineligibility due to sanctions, UCLA is actually in that game as the south's representative.
