Volunteers have restrung most of the the wind-damaged lights on Altadena's traditional Christrmas Tree Lane and say they will flip the switch on Saturday at 6 p.m. — as scheduled before last week's freak wind event. The volunteers had just finished installing lights when the wind storm tore through Altadena, felling at least one tree and ripping limbs from other deodar cedars on the lane. Community choirs and a drum corps will perform at a pre-lighting ceremony, says Altadena Patch.
