David Goldstein to be honored by Press Club

david_goldstein_cbs2.jpgThe board of directors of the Los Angeles Press Club selected CBS2/KCAL9 investigative reporter David Goldstein for this year's Joseph M. Quinn Memorial Award for journalistic achievement and distinction. Previous winners include Walter Cronkite, Otis Chandler, Army Archerd, Jack Smith, Stan Chambers and Patt Morrison. Goldstein can pick up the award on June 24 at the Press Club's annual dinner at the Biltmore. Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward will be honored the same night on the 40th anniversary of Watergate.

Awards note: Journalists have until March 30 to enter the club's 2012 journalism awards. Entry fees are 20 percent lower before March 1.
