UCLA in the 1940s — in color

A new history book, UCLA: The First Century, has hundreds of photographs of the campus through the years, but this might be my favorite. I'm a sucker for color images of eras I previously knew only in black and white. This one shows 1940s students on the quad outside Powell Library. Click to see it bigger.
