New president named for LA Newspaper Group

Jack Klunder, the publisher of the Daily News, Daily Breeze and Press-Telegram, has just been promoted to president of the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, which oversees all of the MediaNews Group newspapers in the area. Klunder is a former Los Angeles Times executive who was previously LANG’s Vice President of Circulation. The announcement came from Digital First Media, the New York company that now manages Dean Singleton's MediaNews Group.

And of course: Klunder is the guy who got his stolen Mustang back 35 years later.
