New first place team in LA tonight

richard+carter+lakings.jpgThe LA Kings have been having some fun since trading in late February for Jeff Carter, the blond stud in the photo. He scored the game-winning goal tonight in a tie-breaking shootout to defeat the hottest team in the league, the St. Louis Blues. The win moves the Kings into first place in the Pacific Division and, if they hold onto first, gives them home-ice advantage for the opening round of the NHL playoffs next month.
